I was a client for nearly 10 years. In November, my dog became very sick with a liver infection. She was treated in the hospital for two days and sent home with antibiotics. After two follow-up blood tests, she was still to be on antibiotics and liver enziems high. Where better to board your sick dog for the holidays, but at the vet's office that has been treating her. She was never given her meds, they did not do bloodwork before administering rabies vaccine and she is now fighting for her life with a turn for the worst. As I called to make an appointment, they could not see her back since they are "too busy today and tomorrow". Records were requested so we could seek further treatment elsewhere. They were given, with all of my other pet's records, and a nasty note that I am no longer considered a client, and stating that her emergency services are only for exsisting clients. Basically, here is your request, don't come back. This is after 10 years, $1,200 for this incident alone, and now the new vet is telling me that my beloved companion for 7 years is too far gone, and will most likely pass away. Of course it was another $600 there for tests that should have been done the first time, finding that she was way worse than we thought and should have been more aggresively treated. I am sure 11 days off her meds did not help either. Be careful!!!
