Worried Pet Owner (2008-01-31)
My Mother-in-law took my Chihuahua to Albin Animal Hospital in Mattoon, IL and it has been the worst experience with a pet that I have ever had. My puppy is not doing well at all. They did not give him any pain medicine and when he came home he wouldn't even get out of his pet carrier. He just laid in his carrier and was peeing on himself. They also tried to tell us that he was aggressive and needed obedience classes which is absurd. This dog is no more aggressive than an infant child. He has a bruise on his ear which I don't understand how or why? I have not stopped worrying about him since he was picked up from the vet and when we call with concern they act like we are the ones being ridiculous. They said we could bring him back in for a $75.00 emergency visit. Yeah right, I will never take my dog or any animal there ever again
