“After being quoted $300 by phone for the removal of 10 porcupine quills from my dog's mouth I drove 1 and 1 half hours to this Clinic in Brewer. After waiting for half an hour we were taken into a room where we were told that indeed we did have quills in my dog's mouth. Thanks. Then we were given a $750 estimate for the procedure. I was shocked, so they told me I could waive the blood work (which is the part that tells them weather or not my dog will be harmed or killed by the anesthesia). When I decided that I couldn't afford this and chose to find help in Ellsworth I was forced to pay $100 for their examination which consisted of taking my dogs temperature and telling me he had quills in his mouth.
My experience here was insulting, infuriating and I felt extremely taken advantage of. I would never go back to this clinic unless it was my absolutely only option for helping my wonderful dog.”
