I have had a lot of experience with this vet hospital. And they haven't been very good experiences. The owner expanded the hospital very quickly a few years back, and while the facilities are very nice, the number of clients has not risen since. And the hospital is crippled because of it. Many staff have been fired recently, because of lack of money. Days go by when there are no doctors appointments at all. And its no surprise with their prices as high as they are. Dogs have been in the boarding, gotten slightly ill, and left with thousands of dollars of bills! Without the owners consent... The grooming staff is incompetent, and the dogs often leave with shoddy haircuts. And more than once dogs have left with nicks and cuts the groomers "forget" to mention to the dogs owners. Its also very overpriced, and the groomers will often send you home with a shaved dog rather than spend the time to de-mat it. The cats don't even get baths, unless the owner specifically asks for a water bath, and even still they might just spray it with cologne and charge you 60 dollars... The boarding staff lazes about all day rather than spend time with the dogs that are stuck in a back room listening to the incessant barking. And most of the time lying on the cold floor, because they are rarely allowed to enjoy the things the pet parents bring them from home. These things are left in a back room, bagged and ready to be sent home when the dogs go. The vet techs are nice enough, but the vets are very lofty and rude. They care much more about their paychecks than the dogs they should be curing. They are payed commission and will more often than not lead you towards whichever route will leave more cash in their pockets. Overall it looks nice on the outside, but its very overpriced and badly run. I would suggest taking your animal to a hospital that has the well being of you and your pet foremost in their mind, and not Countryside.
