Dr Ray Early the vet at "The Animal Clinic of Herculaneum" has been our veterinarian for over 14 years and has gone out of his way for us and our pets on several occasions. His care has been exemplary, compassionate and reasonably priced. His clinic is clean, well stocked with special foods and medications and as far as I can tell his staff has not changed since we first started seeing him in 1994. Recently the receptionist recognized me, by name, by the sound of my voice even when I had not spoken with her for a year! The Doctor and his staff appear to stay on top of the latest advances in medications and procedures for both our dog (Holly) and cats (Snoop, Pearl, and Custard) They have convenient hours and take walk in appointments. On the unfortunate occasions that our pets have had emergencies and needed to go to the Animal Emergency Clinic in Barnhart (a wonderful specialty veterinary service) Dr Early has either read their report or spoken with them by phone or both, then followed up with us and did a wonderful job helping our recovering pet and us. In this world of corporate behemoths and lousy customer service Dr. Early is a still shining example of how businesses used to be and still should be run.
