I called to let them know I was on my way in with my cat who had an accident. After the initial questions, the receptionist IMMEDIATELY began asking me about how I would be paying for the treatment. Once there and the cat was taken in the back, the receptionist continued to grill us about payment. We told her we had CareCredit and that it would be paid for. We then spoke with her about the estimate BEFORE any work was done (we had dealt with them before and knew that they were expensive). She then told me that I had CareCredit and it shouldn't matter about the cost and if I loved my cat, I shouldn't care. (I do love my cat unconditionally, but I needed to know so I could pay the bill off eventually..). She made me feel like a bad person for considering the costs of treatment (even though up to that point, I've spent thousands on my pets when they needed care). When I finally got to see the doctor she was very considerate and understanding (Dr. Holland). However, when I told her how upset her receptionist made me she brushed it off like it wasn't a problem. Anyway, watch out for her quotes because they are always off (it will cost you more than the 'high' end of the quote, believe me). Trust me--find a new emergency vet!
