We had a very sick dog who we had run test after test on. Our vet and us decided that after one last attempt of medicine and diet that our beloved pet would either need extensive, pricey tests, or be put down. SHe was very sick on easter...it was apparent that she was dying. When I called EC Vets I explained everything that we had gone through. They assured me that we would be able to put her to sleep so that she would stop suffering. When we got there...the receptionist was extremly nice. However the vet technician was not compassionate at all and she made us feel like horrible pet owners. She said that we had not done enough (even though we had spent 1000 dollars already) and was VERY rude to us as we sat there crying over our sick dog. It was a very hard decision to make bringing our dog to be put down, and she made it horrible. The vet refused to do it. We could understand not having and the history on the dog and not feeling comfortable. But the vet tech could have been at least a little nice to us. And the vet could have at least come out to talk to us. I would never go to EC Vets again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
