As the director of an animal welfare group, Iv had plenty of emergencies, and I have to say no one has treated us better than Dr. Luis and his group at Alamo. They have stayed late and morned with me as we had to put down a wonderful old companion. They are very compassionate and drop what they are doing the moment you arrive with an emergancy. I wont go anywhere else now! Also they do a lot of regular maintanince care for 1/2 the cost of other vets Iv used.
ITs worth the drive 1 hour away for me to go there. On mothers day weekend I couldnt find a vet to save my soul with an animal dying of heat stroke, and they told me to come immediately. I had called 6 others who were either busy or gone and wouldnt come to my aid. They also corrected a surgery mistake done by another vet, when the other one insisted it was all fine...
