I too worked for Cedarcrest
Reviewer: Ecb
I too worked for Cedarcrest (as well as other local vets) and I won't take my pets anywhere else. Dr O is great, and when I was there all staff was always on the ball. The level of clean in this facility is unmatched anywhere. I am proud to say my pets are taken to Cedarcrest.

Cedarcrest from an ex- employee
Reviewer: Charity
Cedercrest is a great place to take your animals to. I worked there recently and often found myself wishing that I was a dog so I could stay there and get treated so well. The way all of the employees treat the animals is with love really. I loved working there enjoying seeing the diffrent dogs that came in and seeing the owners faces when they would have their dog returned to them. The dogs are checked very 20 min to make sure their water is fresh and that the guest are happy and comfy. Nothing megan said was true at all please take it from me. They are the best place to board your dog.

~Cedarcrest puts their hearts and souls into our animals and I think it is sad that anyone would put down such an amazing place and amazing people. God bless Cedarcrest and all the kindness they share.~

My pets have stayed at Cedarcrest many times I personally would not board my pets anywhere else. They have always made arrangements for me no matter what the issues are/or why I have to leave on short notice. My dog spent alot of time there before he died and I'm truley thankful that he had people around him that knew and loved him before he passed. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that when he was at cedarcrest he was well taken care of. Dr. Olkowski is the best and will do whatever it takes to help save a pets life. So for Megan to come up with the things she is saying is ludacris. I have toured the kennal and they are very clean, So clean that you wouldn\\\'t even know that dogs were kept there. So I don\\\'t know why you left, but I\\\'m glad you are gone because if they let you go you most likely didn\\\'t do your job the cedarcrest way. My advise to Megan is to try and find a job that better suites her. Cedarcrest is the very best and I hope that others caught on.

Megan, if you are going to complain about ex-employers it might be wise to leave you name off the form. I hope you never need them for a future reference.

Wow, Megan, sounds like a bad employee got fired and is acting out. My experience with Cedar Crest has been wonderful. I sure hope you were off the days my dog was there.

Cedarcrest is the absolute worst place you can take your animals. Knowing from personal experience as an ex-employee, I have seen what happens behind closed doors and you would be horrified if you knew some of the things that went on while you left your pet in their care. When specific directions are given to take care of the pet they are disreguarded. If the pet is left overnight with belongings, they are put in a large wooden closet in the vestibule with the pets name on it instead of being given to the pet as directed. In Wintery conditions, the pets are still left outside in the runs for up to 5 or 6 hours in the freezing cold and or rain. There have been numerous animals that have died under Dr. Olkowski's care which are then wrapped in blue plastic and put in the storage shed right outside of the front of the building when there is no more room left inside. These animals are taken weekly and sometimes daily to Commonwealth to be cremated. Needless to say I never brought my animals there and found a job elsewhere soon after my 90 days. If you would like to speak with the woman who is in charge of all of these "protocols" as she calls them, simply ask for Cindy Barret herself.
