Dr. Hannah Braught received her undergraduate degree at Boston University with a major in Print Journalism and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. After graduation, Dr. Braught spent several years working and volunteering at shelters, zoos, farms, and marine mammal centers. While earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University, she spent her summers researching the effects of traditional medicines used on the local donkey population in Giza, Egypt. Since graduation in 2011, Dr. Braught has worked primarily in small animal clinics and has indulged her love of travel by teaching students in global veterinary study-abroad programs. Dr. Braught enjoys spending her free time reading, trying to learn the ukulele, and over-watering her growing collection of plants.
