How It Works

Travel Fees

A travel fee starting at $89 will be added to the cost of all in-home visits to compensate for the time and expense of bringing personalized attention right to your doorstep. 

There is only one travel fee charged per visit, regardless of the number of pets in the household.

Pet Insurance

Whether your service will be covered depends on your individual policy. We will be happy to provide you with any records or assistance you need to submit your claims to your insurance company.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that canceling an in-home visit less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of your arrival time window will result in an automatic fee of $75. If you need to cancel a procedure or surgery less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, there will be a cancellation fee of $250.

BetterVet’s in-home services are great for multi-pet households, as you can schedule one convenient appointment for all the pets in the family. While there is a separate examination fee for each pet, there is only one travel fee per home visit.
